“You are my family, my future and my forever.”

After a long road filled with trials and tears, they’ve finally made it to the other side—a place where beginnings are made. Life is always an uphill journey, but together, they are ready for anything.

Be there when Clare Murray becomes Mrs. Logan Matthews…

Ready to Wed…a novella from the USA Today bestselling Ready series.

Includes bonus short story, Never Been More Ready, which gives readers a glimpse into the lives of Leah and Declan as they prepared for one of life’s greatest adventures – parenthood!

Despite having a problem to hurdle, Claire and Logan, finally decided to get married. And since it was a bit impromptu, with his diagnosis and all, they decided to turn their vacation get away in St. Thomas to a small wedding to be attended just by their closest frineds and families.

When You're Ready made it to my top reads last year so it was nice to catch up with Logan and Claire's life. I just wished Logan's cancer is healed already but sadly, it still isn't.

This book is definitely overpouring with Maddie's cuteness. I so love the kid. I can imagine what a knock-out she'd be when she finally grow up. I also love the part when she asked Logan's permission to call him daddy. I really hope she'd have her own story in the future.

This book also gave me a peek on Garrett and Leah. I really think Garrett has a problem and I think it has something to do with a girl. I kind of cheated though because I he will be featured on the third book in this series and I know for a fact that he's having a trouble because of his first love. I'd have to read his story to find out what really happened.

And of course, I get to see a piece of Leah. Though she may seem so independent, so full of life as if not having a care about anyone's problem in the world, I think she's hiding more from the public eye. I'm also currently reading Never Been Ready, the book two from the series, and I must say, she's lived a tough life. No wonder, she's closed off her feelings.

One of my favorite parts here is, of course, the wedding itself. Claire had her doubts and there was a moment or two when she wanted to back off and just proceed with Logan's treatment, but on the long run, they decided to push through with the wedding. I especially loved their vows to one another.

Claire to Logan
“I promise to love you a little bit more each and every day. I promise to hold your hand, even when we’re old and frail. I vow that no matter what life hands us, I will stand by your side, ready and willing to face the challenges that lie ahead. I will always try to make you laugh and promise to share my dessert with you—maybe. But more than anything, Logan, I promise you will always have me. All of me. Everything I have is yours. You are my family, my future and my forever."
Logan to Claire
“You are my family, my future and my forever….and I will walk with you wherever this crazy road called life may take us.”
It was such a bitter sweet ending to their story. Knowing what Claire had experience with her first husband, it's difficult to think positive regarding Logan's condition. Though I really think that Logan will survive the cancer. He has so much to give up and he knows that Maddie and Claire are enough for him to fight for his life.
Life is too short to worry about the why, or the how or the what-ifs. Love is a risk, there are no guarantees. But in the end, it is always, always worth it.
Sometimes when a friendship goes beyond normal borders and you find a sister, rather than an ordinary friend, conversations aren't necessary
