Thoughts on the Book:
I never thought that I'd enjoy this book so much. It was really cute, very funny and a light read.
I love Min and Cal's group of friends. How I wich I could belong to them. I like Bonnie and Roger's homely characters. I quite like the pair. They were really sure they're each other's THE ONE. I find Boonie's belief of fairy tale adorable. Tony's chaos theory is interesting and I was surprised that he ended up with Diane. Liza on the other hand is a commitment phoebe. She always wants to do something new. Cal's disabilities added charm to his personality but I guess Dsylexia is already overused. I found connection with Min's dies habits. Girls can actually relate to her dilemma.
The villains are amusing especially Cynthie.I love her psychological attact on love. It was informative. I wonder if there was really a book where it was based. David was really a dumb ass.
The families. I can tolerate Min's family but not Cal's. Oh my Lord! They're awful! They're not supportive of their sons. They may be successful in their profession but they don't have the emotional capacity to love them. On the other hand, Min's family is a little bit crazy. They're tolerable. They want to be involve in everything that's happening in their daughters'lives. Her mom is obsessed in making Min lose weight.
The addition of statistical probabilities about event was a brilliant idea. Also, the psychological facts made me curious. I guess, I'm gonna research late. And also, the reason it's called Bet Me, the bets made among the characters.
It was a very  good contemporary romance novel by the way. If you just want to lie down and relax, this book is a good companion. If you loved You Don't Have to Say You Love Me by Sara Manning, you'll love this even more because it actually has almost the same concept.

Quotes from the Book:
"Women's total instinct for gambling is satisfied by marriage. - Gloria Stefan"
"Min sucked in her breath as every cell she had, came alive and whispered, This one. Then she turned away before anybody caught her slack-jawed with admiration. He was not the one, that was her DNA talking, looking for a high-class sperm donor. Every woman in the moon with a working ovary probably looked at him and thought, this one. Well, biology was not destiny."
"My studies have shown that the process of falling into mature love happens in four steps. When you meet a woman, you subconsciously look for cues that she's the kind os person you should be with. That's assumption. If she passes the assumption test, you begin to get to know her to find out if she's appropriate for you. If she is, you're attracted. If, as you get to know her, the attraction is reinforced with joy or pain or both, you'll fall into infatuation. And if you manage to make a connection and attach to each other during infatuation, you'll move into mature, unconditional love."
"Every species has a dinner date as part of courting ritual. A woman who won't let you pay for dinner is rejecting your courtship. She may think she's playing fair, or that she's being a feminist, but a very deep level, she knows that she's crossing you off her list of possibilities."
"Statistics show that men are interested in three things: careers, sports, and sex. That's why they love professional cheerleaders."
"Infatuation is the fun part of falling in love. Infatuation triggers a chemical in the brain called PEA, your heart races, and you get breathless and dizzy, you tremble, and you can't think. It's what most people think of when they think of falling in love, and everybody goes through it."
"Infatuation lasts anywhere from six months to three years, and you can't know you've found the right person until you're worked your way through it."
