Thoughts on the Book:
I never thought that I'd enjoy this book so much. It was really cute, very funny and a light read.
I love Min and Cal's group of friends. How I wich I could belong to them. I like Bonnie and Roger's homely characters. I quite like the pair. They were really sure they're each other's THE ONE. I find Boonie's belief of fairy tale adorable. Tony's chaos theory is interesting and I was surprised that he ended up with Diane. Liza on the other hand is a commitment phoebe. She always wants to do something new. Cal's disabilities added charm to his personality but I guess Dsylexia is already overused. I found connection with Min's dies habits. Girls can actually relate to her dilemma.
The villains are amusing especially Cynthie.I love her psychological attact on love. It was informative. I wonder if there was really a book where it was based. David was really a dumb ass.
The families. I can tolerate Min's family but not Cal's. Oh my Lord! They're awful! They're not supportive of their sons. They may be successful in their profession but they don't have the emotional capacity to love them. On the other hand, Min's family is a little bit crazy. They're tolerable. They want to be involve in everything that's happening in their daughters'lives. Her mom is obsessed in making Min lose weight.
The addition of statistical probabilities about event was a brilliant idea. Also, the psychological facts made me curious. I guess, I'm gonna research late. And also, the reason it's called Bet Me, the bets made among the characters.
It was a very good contemporary romance novel by the way. If you just want to lie down and relax, this book is a good companion. If you loved You Don't Have to Say You Love Me by Sara Manning, you'll love this even more because it actually has almost the same concept.
