Book Review: Just The Sexiest Man Alive

Title: Just The Sexiest Man Alive
Author: Julie James

Synopsis:
A fabulously fun, romantic comedy from a dynamic new talent.
Nothing fazes Taylor Donovan - not in the courtroom and not in her personal life. So when she's assigned to coach People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' for his role in the next big legal drama, she refuses to fall for the Hollywood heartthrob's charms. Even if he is the Jason Andrews.

Genre: Romance

Thoughts on the Book:
This is my first time to read a Julie James book and I must say that it's definitely not going to be my last. Oh my goodness, she can definitely write! Susan Elizabeth Phillips might have found her match. James'books can definitely be adapted as a romantic comedy music.
This book is definitely a great read. It's very romantic. It's a refreshing story because somehow it's different from the other romance stories I've read. Mind you, I've been reading a lot of SEP, Jude Deveraux, and Judith McNaught lately that I exactly know how each of their story will end.
What I like about the story is that the woman is a lawyer and her partner is a hollywood superstar. The synopsis said it all and that was why I read it. I so love the couple. I love reading stories like this where a famous hollywood actor becomes head over heals in love with his girl. I also like the fact that James' created two matured characters - both in their early thirtees actually.
James Andrews is so irresistible and he's got brains too. I like Taylor's name. It's so appealing. The good thing is she didn't got smitten by James Andrews that fast.
The cross-examination inside the court was one of my favorites especially the time when James walked in during one of Taylor's moments with the witness.
Overall, it is a very fun and quick read. If you want something funny, witty, and romantic, this is just the book for you. Not just this one, but all of Julie James'book. I so love her!

Quotes From The Book
"What do you think?"
"Oh, I'm not the right person to ask. I don't see that many romantic comedies."
"Dramedies. And why is that? You don't believe in love?"
"Of course, I believe in love. Although I'm not sure I believe in love like you see in movies."
"I don't know... I suppose it's the idea that there's one person out there for you. The so-called perfect match. It's not a logical concept."
"You know, just because love like that hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it doesn't exist."
"I'm sure you're right. I suppose I'm not your target audience, that's all."
"Let me give you a bit of friendly advice, Taylor. Life isn't always about logic and reason-sometimes you just have to close your eyes and jump. Particularly when it comes to relationship."

"Falling in love with anyone was a gamble. "
